I have been unjustly accused. Praised first then "yabbed" immediately after.
An old friend and staunch supporter of my sporadic blogging efforts praised my writing for being objective then slammed me for suspiciously elastic values once opinions on men are required. Or not.
My very sef?
Bash males? (yes bash was the very word used)
In my opinion I'm still being objective. Tell it like it is. Bash where bashing is begging to occur. I love men. Yes. Really.
On to lingering nuisances.
The indecent dressing bill seems to be trundling along. I think certain quarters enjoy using it as an "I told you women shouldn't be in the Senate" buttress point alongside Ettegate (google it!)
This bill, for those who don't know, proposes to end all societal ills and violence against women in Nigeria by regulating the length of our skirts and necklines. The collapse of society as we know it is apparently purely the fault of all wanton and immoral women and girls. Like me.
Ive had nightmares of the Nigerian Police having the mandate to measure the bosoms of hapless women to determine if we have violated the proposed not showing skin 2 inches below the collarbone law. 2inches. Our necklines will strangle us and Nigeria will be saved because we are all dead!
De devil is a liar.
I have a headache
